Glenn E. Stahl, 78, Bedford, died Saturday at UPMC Presbyterian, Pittsburgh.

He was born in Bedford, son of the late Clyde and Annie (Ferguson) Stahl. Surviving are two children: Carolyn and Norman Stahl; four grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and two siblings: Eileen Duey and Melvin Stahl.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Doris (Shirey) Stahl, Brother Clyde D. Stahl and sister Karen E. Walter.

Glenn was a US Army veteran serving from 1956 to 1959 where he achieved the rank of Specialist 4. He retired as a Stone Mason from the local Mason Union.

Friends will be received from 10 until the 11 a.m. funeral service Thursday, April 13, 2017, at Axe & Santella Family Chapel, 1534 Fourth St., Altoona.
