Kay A. Nedimyer, 80, a resident of Presbyterian Village at Hollidaysburg, passed away Tuesday at the home.

She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late Ira and Leona (Roy) Nedimyer.

Surviving are numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by four brothers: John, Gerald, Clovis and Melvin; and two sisters: Mary Eileen and Jean Keagy.

Kay was a 1955 graduate of Altoona High School. In 1976, she retired as a secretary for Stroehmann’s Bakery, Altoona.

She attended St. Therese of the Child Jesus Catholic Church, Altoona. She enjoyed all kinds of music and had a quick wit about her.

Friends will be received from 10 until the 11 a.m. funeral service, Saturday, Sept. 9, 2017, at Axe and Santella Family Chapel, 1534 Fourth St., Altoona, Father D. Timothy Grimme officiating. Committal will be at Calvary Cemetery, Altoona. Arrangements are by Leslie E. Axe Funeral Home, 1520 Fourth St., Altoona.
