Anita Richards

Anita Richards, 52, Altoona, passed away Saturday, Feb. 29, 2020 at home. She was born in Altoona, daughter of Harold and the late Connie (McGeary) Myers. On June 20, 2009, she married John Richards.

Surviving is her husband, a son, Eric Myers; one granddaughter, Mackenzie Myers; a sister, Beth (Nick) Summers; 2 brothers: John and Robert Myers; and her father.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Lillian and Melvin McGeary.

Anita enjoyed fishing and crocheting afghans.

Friends will be received from 1-3pm and 5-7pm, Sunday, March 8, 2020 in the Leslie E. Axe Funeral Home, 1520-4th St. Altoona. A funeral service will be held at 10am Monday, March 9, 2020 in the Axe and Santella Family Chapel, 1534-4th St. Altoona. Interment will be at Logan Valley Cemetery.
