Beverly J. (Pike) Snyder

Beverly J. Snyder, 84, Altoona, passed away Sunday at the Altoona Center for Nursing. She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late Louis and Ethel (Dewald) Pike. On Feb. 16, 1957, she married John Snyder and he preceded her in death on Oct. 31, 2013.

She is survived by two sons: Jeff Snyder and Stephen (Robin) Snyder; four grandchildren: Eryn, Derek, Caitlin, and Stevie; two great-grandchildren: Divaya and Rayna; two sisters: Sherrill Kaufman and Jill (Jim) Glunt; and two brothers: Gary (Ann) Pike and Darryl (Vicki) Pike.

Beverly was preceded in death by a son, Darren Snyder; a daughter-in-law, Janice Snyder; and a brother-in-law, Mearle Kaufman.

Beverly was an Altoona High School graduate and was a homemaker to her family.

She enjoyed poetry, photography, and yard sales.

She was a former member of the Altoona Bible Church.

Friends will be received from 10am until the 12pm funeral service, Thursday July 15, 2021 at the Leslie E. Axe Funeral Home, 1520-4th St. Altoona. Interment will be at Carson Valley Cemetery.
