David K. Thomas Sr.
Obituary
David K. Thomas Sr., 63, Altoona, passed away June 19, 2021 unexpectedly at his home. He was born in Altoona, son of the late Oakley and Clara (Young) Thomas. He later married Corinda McGeary.
He is survived by his wife; 4 children: Crystal Rosado, Nichole Pearson, Danielle Thomas, and David Thomas Jr.; eight grandchildren: Tito, Jeremy, Selena, Jamal, Monica, Mira, Zoey, and Zel Jr.; two sisters: Pamela Young and Leslie Thomas; and a brother, Michael Thomas.
He was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Kiera and a sister, Bernice.
David worked for many years with Subway and most recently with Boyer Candy. His real passion was boxing and he even appeared on ESPN. He also loved football, basketball, and training hard with workouts.
He was a member of Restored Apostolic Ministries of Altoona.
Friends will be received at the celebration of life service at 4pm on Saturday, July 10, 2021 at Restored Apostolic Ministries of Altoona, 1500-N. 6th Ave. Altoona 16601. Arrangements are by Leslie E. Axe Funeral Home, 1520-4th Street.
