Donna Jean McGeary, 75, Altoona, passed away Thursday at her residence.
She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late Donald W. and Vida E. (Butler) Butler. She was married to Melvin D. “Jake” McGeary. He preceded her in death on Feb. 9, 1996.
Surviving are three daughters: Lori A. Doran (David), Karen J. Barry (James) and Kimberly L. McGeary; three sons: Kevin D. McGeary (Lori), Craig A. McGeary (Lisa) and Andy J. McGeary (Beth Ann); two sisters: Peggy McGinnis (Tom) and Lisa Orgis (Ron); a brother, Gary A. Butler (Bambi); a sister-in-law, Betty Butler; 13 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Alan L. Butler; and a grandson, Jordan Scott Doran.
She was a graduate of Hollidaysburg Senior High School. She worked as an assistant manager for Uni-Mart and enjoyed being a homemaker.
Donna was a Steelers and NASCAR fan. She enjoyed arts and crafts and spending time with her family.
Friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, Oct. 22, 2018, in the Leslie E. Axe Funeral Home. A funeral service will immediately follow the visitation, Pastor Mark Rhodes officiating. Interment will be at Logan Valley Cemetery.
