John R. Hann Sr., 73, Lakemont, passed away Sunday at UPMC Altoona.

He was born in Altoona, son of Lawrence and Mildred P. (Blake) Hann. He married Barbara A. Hann.

Surviving are his wife; two daughters: Cindy Buck (Mark Smith) and Stephanie Hann (Scott Padula Sr.); a son, John R. Hann Jr. (Paula Grof); four sisters: Norma Hann, Nancy Feathers, Carol Socie and Judy Madera; a brother, Lawrence Hann Jr.; four grandchildren: Brooke Fogal (Robert), David Buck III, Linsey Buck (Ambrose Bowers) and Scott Padula Jr.; four great-grandchildren: Ryland, Bailey, Kayson and Levi; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by two sisters: Dorothy Poust and Sally Reilly and a brother, Ed Hann.

He was a graduate of Hollidaysburg High School and proudly served in the U.S. Army National Guard from 1963 to 1968. He retired from M & P Radiator Service as an owner and operator.

At the request of the deceased, there will be no funeral service.
