Judith A. "Judy" (Shevenock) Klein

Judith A. “Judy” Klein, 59, Altoona, passed away Monday at UPMC Altoona. She was born in Altoona, daughter of Anna Mae (Smith) and the late George L. Shevenock. She later married Robert Klein Sr. and he preceded her in death on June 8, 2020.

Judy is survived by two sons: Robert (Meghan) Klein Jr. and Christopher Klein; 7 grandchildren: Emma, Anna Mae, Zach, Nate, Tori, Hailey, and Payton; a sister, Veda (Jim) Cupples; two brothers: David (Deb) Shevenock and George II (Kathy) Shevenock.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Heather VanKlaveren.

Judy was an Altoona High School graduate and most recently worked in housekeeping at the hospital.

She enjoyed camping, the beach, crocheting, and the Steelers.

She was a member of St. Therese of the Child Jesus.

Friends will be received from 4pm - 7:30pm Friday, Nov. 12, 2021 in the Axe and Santella Family Chapel, 1534-4th St. Altoona. A funeral service will be held at 7:30 p.m. following the visitation, the Rev. D. Timothy Grimme officiating. Interment will be at Blair Memorial Park.
