Julie Anne (Miraglia) Somerton-Gority

Julie Anne Somerton-Gority, 61, Altoona, passed away Friday at UPMC Altoona. She was born in McConnellsburg, daughter of the late Jack and Patricia (Sponsler) Miraglia.

She is survived by her loving fiance, Ron Lenhart; three sons: Michael Somerton-Gority, Jonathan Somerton, and Jeremy Jerosewicz; 3 grandchildren; five siblings: Debbie Garrison, Lee Ann Ebersole, Phillip Somerton, Maria Miraglia, and John Miraglia; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Beverly Granada.

Julie was a 1978 graduate of Altoona High School and worked for the City of Altoona in Public Works.

She enjoyed reading, gardening, and the outdoors.

At the request of the deceased, there will be no services. Arrangements are by the Leslie E. Axe Funeral Home, 1520-4th St. Altoona.
