Kristie R. Tragon, 37, Altoona, passed away Saturday at UPMC Altoona.

She was born in Altoona, daughter of Stephen Tragon and Cindy (Crust) McCready.

Surviving are her father, Stephen; her mother, Cindy (Ron) McCready; a sister, Julie (Chuck) Lohsl; two brothers: Scott Tragon and Jeff Tragon; her grandparents: Dick and Marla Crust; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents: Ronald and Donna Tragon; an aunt, Jackie Crust; an uncle, Ronnie Tragon; and her beloved dog, Voodoo.

She was a graduate of Altoona High School, and worked for Motel 6 in housekeeping. She attended the former Independent Bible Church.

Kristie was an avid reader of Stephen King novels and she loved watching Pirates and Penguins games. She had a green thumb and loved gardening, and she loved spending time with her family, especially having her "cousin nights" with her sister, cousins and friends.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 20, 2016, at Leslie E. Axe Funeral Home, 1520 Fourth St., Altoona, and from 10 until the 11 a.m. funeral service Wednesday, Sept. 21, 2016, at the Axe and Santella Family Chapel, Pastor John Pine officiating. Interment will be at Calvary Cemetery.
