LeiLona J. Neaffer

LeiLona J. Neaffer, 59, entered into eternal rest on Sunday July 6, 2025 surrounded by her family after a brief battle with cancer at UPMC Presbyterian in Pittsburgh. 

LeiLona was born on February 8, 1966 in Altoona, Pennsylvania to the late Delores (Pounds) and the late Francis VanSickle. 

In addition to her parents, LeiLona is preceded in death by her loving son, Myrven H. Neaffer V. 

LeiLona is survived by her loving husband Myrven H. Neaffer IV., whom she married on April 6, 1991, in addition to her children: Mindy H. (Juan) Robles of Altoona, PA., Mitchell H. (Aarika) Neaffer of Altoona, PA., and numerous grandsons and granddaughters. 

LeiLona was Protestant by faith and was an avid animal lover, her best companion was her dog, Angel. LeiLona loved being outside in her garden and thoroughly enjoyed flowers. She was a graduate of Altoona High School in the class of 1984 and thereafter was the owner and operator for Joe and Mary’s Tavern. 

LeiLona’s request was too not have any services and she will be deeply missed by friends and family.
