Mary Catherine Priddy

Mary Catherine Priddy, 76, Altoona, passed away Thursday, Oct. 24, 2024 at Maybrook Hills Healthcare and Rehabilitation. She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late Eugene and June (Shoenfelt) Priddy.

She is survived by a sister, Fayetta J. (Lou) Rush; a brother, William (Tracey) Priddy; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Mary Catherine was an Altoona High School graduate and worked as a care giving provider to special needs groups.

She enjoyed art, oil painting, fishing and spending time with family.

Cathy’s smile and sense of humor will be missed every day by all who loved her.

The family very much wants to express gratitude to the staff of Maybrook Hills for their effort in caring for Cathy over many years.

At the request of the deceased, a private celebration of life will be planned by the family at a later time. Arrangements are by Leslie E. Axe Funeral Home.
