Phillip J. Somerton

Phillip J. Somerton, 61, Altoona, passed away Sunday at his home. He was born in Fulton County, son of the late Jack and Patricia (Sponsler) Miraglia.

He is survived by two daughters: Janea Edwards and Trisha Pelton; a son, Mikkel Somerton; 3 grandchildren; his fiance, Erma Gorman; three sisters: Lee (Stephen) Ebersole, Maria Miraglia and Debbie Somerton; a brother, John “Bubba” (Michelle) Mirgalia; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by two sisters: Beverly Granada and Julia Somerton-Gority.

Friends will be received from 10 a.m. until the 12 p.m. funeral service on Friday, December 2, 2022 at the Leslie E. Axe Funeral Home. Interment will be at Grandview Cemetery.
