Phyllis A. (Henderson) Chathams

Phyllis A. Chathams, 77, Ashville, passed away Monday at her home. She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late John R. and Virginia M. (McCloskey) Henderson. She later married Frank W. Chathams Jr. and he preceded her in death in 2016.

She is survived by her daughter, Brenda A. Law; granddaughter, Cassandra A. Law; beloved pup, Skippy; sister, Joyce Whetstine; brothers: John, Donald, Michael (Barbara) and Ronald Henderson; and two sisters in law: Sandra (Jim) McDermott and Donna Weston-Royer.

Phyllis loved her animals, crocheting and crafts.

Friends will be received from 6pm until the 8pm funeral service Thursday, June 6, 2024 in the Santella Funeral Home, 1106-8th Ave. Altoona PA 16602, officiated by Christina Lonsinger, student at Penn West Academy. Interment will be at Grandview Cemetery. Arrangements are by the Leslie E. Axe Funeral Home.
