Stephen A. Forney

Stephen A. Forney, 63, Altoona, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday at UPMC Altoona. He was born in Altoona, son of the late Byron and Patricia (Fagan) Forney. He later married Paula Hollingsworth, who preceded him in death.

He survived by three daughters: Weedle (Daniel) Mort, Nicolle (Matthew) Auker, and Tara Skipper; 7 grandchildren: Tre, Isabella, Dylan, Madelyn, Tyler, Ethan, and Luke; 2 great-grandchildren: Hallie and Hannalee; and two sisters: Pamela and Debbie.

Stephen was an Altoona High School graduate. He worked for Martin Oil and recently as a foreman for Penn Line.

He enjoyed trips to the beach, riding his Harley, spending time with his grandchildren, and his dog, Molly Ann.

At the request of the deceased, no services will be held. Arrangements are by Leslie E. Axe Funeral Home, 1520-4th St. Altoona.
