Steve Sharer Obituary

Steve R. Sharer, 68, Hollidaysburg, passed away Friday at the Hollidaysburg Veterans Home.

He was born in Altoona, son of the late R. Lynn and Veronica (Lomax) Sharer.

Surviving are two sisters: Valerie Roulic and Karen Antesberger; two brothers: Gregory and Lynn Sharer; an aunt, Dorothy Sharer; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Steve was a Bellwood-Antis graduate and served in the U.S. Coast Guard during Vietnam in transportation as a seaman.

At the request of the deceased, there will be no services. Committal will be at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. Arrangements are by Leslie E. Axe Funeral Home.
