Thomas D. Buck

Thomas D. Buck, 71, Altoona, passed away Wednesday at his home.

He was born in Altoona, son of the late Russell and Miriam Bernadine Lenora (White) Buck. He later married Carolyn Beardall.

Surviving is his loving wife; a daughter, Stephanie Agee; son, Shawn Buck; stepdaughter, Kendra Spencer; stepson, Brelan Duff; 6 grandchildren: Dominic Duff, Natalie Buck, Norah Buck, Hailey Spencer, Benjamin Agee, and Sophia Duff; sister, June (Phil) Loeb; and nephew, John Loeb.

Thomas was an Altoona High School graduate and received a Doctorate degree from Naturopathic School for Naturopathy.

He worked as a manager for the 7/11 Convenience Store in North Carolina and a shoe store in Virginia. He later retired as an adjudicator from the PA Unemployment office after 24 and a half years of service.

Thomas served in the United States Army during Vietnam.

He enjoyed genealogy, ballroom dancing, and acting. He was a member of Toastmasters, Altoona Community Theatre, Ghost Research Investigation Foundation, Sunday School President, and a Gold Prospector.

Thomas was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
