Timothy J. McCartney

 Timothy J. McCartney, 69, Altoona, passed away Tuesday at Maybrook Hills Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center. He was born in Altoona, son of the late Jack and Roslyn (Moran) McCartney.  

He later married Carol Harten. 

Tim is survived by his loving wife, Carol; a stepdaughter, Diane Marlowe; and two stepsons: Tony Marlowe and Chris Randisi; four brothers: Jeff, Steve, Gary, and his twin, Tom McCartney; and a sister, Bonnie (McCartney) Robison.  

Tim was a part of the Bellwood Class of ‘72 and a graduate of Millersville College. For many years he worked in Harrisburg as a foreman for the railroad. He later worked as a copier technician in Altoona for Doing Better Business. 

He enjoyed golfing with friends and spending time with his beloved beagles. 

At the request of the deceased, no services will be held.
