Sandra K. Zechman, 70, Altoona, passed away Monday at UPMC Altoona after a brief illness.

She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late Henry and Nancy (Corelius) Zechman.

Surviving are her best friend, Diana; Kim and Sherri Pellas, who lovingly supported her in their home for the last 12 years; and her loving extended family.

She was preceded in death by two half-sisters: Dotty Bice and Betty McGregor Grace.

Sandra loved music, especially Elvis Presley. She was a very active member of Crossroads Adult Services, where she will be dearly missed. She will also be sadly missed by everyone at Skills of Central PA Lifesharing.

Friends will be received from 10 until the 11:30 a.m. funeral service on Saturday, Nov. 25, 2017, at Axe and Santella Family Chapel, 1534 Fourth St., Altoona, Pastor Evelyn Madison officiating. Interment will be in Grandview Cemetery. Arrangements are by Leslie E. Axe Funeral Home, 1520 Fourth St., Altoona.
